Expedition Kayaks are proud to announce we have secured the Australian dealership of Nigel Dennis Kayaks – Sea Kayaking UK. Our boats will be here in the shipment arriving in August, & our first lot will include the famouse Explorer & Explorer HV.

We are finalising our order of the next Valley kayaks, after a phenomenal response to this brand again being available in Australia. These are the best built plastic boats on earth, with every imaginable build detail, a stiffness of hull to rival the strongest built composite boat, & they are as close to water-tight as any kayak can be. They’re available for test paddling any time, just let us know.

The second Impex shipment has landed & is selling fast. Featuring improvements from the first batch, at the new lower process, these boats are the best in the market. The Ivory/Ivory kayaks have a distinct & classical look, while the K-Lite range are show-stoppers.

Impex Kayaks has changed name to Expedition Kayaks, to incorporate the new range of kayaks from the world famous Valley Sea Kayaks. Our first shipment will arrive just after Xmas. Check the range under Valley Kayaks in the left menu.

 

Our price page now includes the prices for all boats – which due to increased buying power & the strong $AUD have all dropped dramatically – as well as the colourways available.

Ross Boardman & the crew at the award winning Jervis Bay Kayaks were recently invited to take part in an ad campaign for NSW Tourism, & featured their shiny new Assateague's in the photo shoot at the idyllic Murray's Beach. Here's a pic from the shoot.

 

 

Keep an eye out for the opening of Jervis Bay Kayaks new superstore in Huskisson. It will be the largest paddle sports retail space in NSW, & will feature a range of Valley kayaks. The entire Impex demo range was paddled, surfed, rolled & generally put under the microscope at the annual NSWSKC Rock & Roll weekend at Bateman’s Bay (check the photos in the Gallery). Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with great excitement about a rudderless, skeg kayak being finally available in a wide range of designs, in the Australian market. If you missed the weekend but would like to have a go in an Impex, let Rob or Mark know.

The first shipment of Impex Kayaks will be landing in early March, in time for a full display at the NSW Sea Kayak Club Rock n Roll event at Bateman's Bay. Impex are a sponsor of this event, the largest of it's kind in the country, & will have the full fleet available for paddlers to test paddle. We're landing the Force 3, 4 & 5, the Outer Island, Currituck, Assateague & Montauk, as well as a new boat for smaller paddlers called the Mystique. The first Currituck, Force 4, & Montauk kayaks developed for Australian conditions will be landing on November 29. They’ll be available for test paddling from early December, with a launch paddle & twilight camp dinner planned for Sydney Harbour to kick things off.
