The Rapier 20

A real open water speed machine. Despite being new to the market this kayak has already set a world record for the fastest crossing from England to France by kayak and won Britain’s toughest adventure race in the Hebridean islands
off the coast of Scotland. Sea worthy, super fast & surprisingly stable & user-friendly, this kayak is the fastest ever reviewed by SeaKayaker magazine (to see the review click HERE). In a series of races around the UK with Ian Tordoff paddling, the Rapier was shown to be clearly the fastest open water kayak in the field, frequently streeting elite competitors, especially when wind or sea state came into the reckoning. Against an Olympic class field in the Hebridean classic, Ian came in 7 full minutes ahead of much fancied competitors. You can read the story of Ian’s channel crossing HERE.
